Search and Rescue

I honestly never expected to join a mountain rescue team. It was simply recommended to me one day and months of training later i’m finding myself traveling up a mountain at 0400 looking for missing hikers. I can’t think of life without it now though. Though all volunteer the dedication is evident, a strive for service and to help those in need even in the worst of conditions. I have learned so many skills I would have never even thought of and not met so many amazing people had I not joined. It’s a new and unique front of my life that only gets better with time.
